2024 Aluminum Alloy Bar Introduction
Main features and application scope: This is a high-strength hard aluminum that can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has moderate plasticity in quenched and just quenched states, good spot welding, and a tendency to form intergranular cracks when gas welding is used. The alloy has good machinability after quenching and cold work hardening, but low machinability after annealing. Its corrosion resistance is not high, and anodizing treatment and painting methods or surface aluminum coating are often used to improve its corrosion resistance. The main purpose is to produce various high load parts and components (excluding stamped and forged parts) such as skeleton parts, skins, frames, ribs, beams, rivets, and other working parts below 150 ℃ on aircraft.
