3003 Aluminum Alloy is a forged aluminum manganese alloy (3000 or 3xxx series). It can be cold treated (but not, unlike some other types of aluminum alloys, heat treated) to produce higher strength but lower strength tempering. Like most other aluminum manganese alloys, 3003 is an all-purpose alloy with moderate strength, good performance and good corrosion resistance. It is usually rolled and extruded, but usually not forged. As a forged alloy, it is not used in casting. It is also widely used in sheet metal applications such as rental, downloads, roofs and side covers.
Alternative names are 3.0517 and A93003. 3003 Aluminum and its various carabiners are covered by ISO standard 6361 and ASTM standards B209, B210, B211, B221, B483, B491 and B547.

3 series aluminum alloy, also known as aluminum manganese alloy, has a manganese content of 1-1.5% and is a widely used rust proof aluminum alloy series. The strength of 3 series aluminum alloy is higher than that of pure aluminum alloy. Although it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, it has good plasticity after cold processing (undercooling rolling) and annealing process. Due to its good corrosion resistance and welding performance, it can be used in many industries, such as building decoration industry, electronic manufacturing industry, automobile manufacturing industry, etc.
The main grades commonly used in 3-series aluminum alloys include 3003 aluminum, 3004 aluminum, etc. The aluminum alloy with the largest usage is 3003 grade. 3003 aluminum is easy to process, has good rust prevention, and can be rolled with colored paint on the surface of the original aluminum to make various decorative curtain wall panels, as well as indoor aluminum ceiling buckle panels. It can also be bent by a tile press to make roof colored aluminum tiles, which are lightweight, durable, and have a longer lifespan than steel.
Compared to 5052, 3003 is cheaper in price and has good welding performance. Some truck fuel tank material manufacturers also use 3003H24 aluminum to replace 5052 in making pressure free partitions in the fuel tank, reducing costs without affecting usage. The strength of 3004 alloy is higher than that of 3003, and its formability is better. It can be used as a tank body for all aluminum cans, as well as a device for chemical production and storage of liquids. 3104 alloy and 3004 alloy have very similar compositions, high strength, and are easy to process. In the television manufacturing industry, 3104-O are often used to make television LCD backboards, stamped convex shells, and added electronic components.
